The drawings and VR renderings take this information and interpret it. In VR you not only see, but feel; which you never quite get from a 2-D, flat drawing. You then get to be the critic to decide if this is what you want: ceiling height, room size, etc. Drawings might show what a house looks like, but no drawing has ever been able to show how a home will feel.
